Prior to Conference
Thank you for serving as a Program Organizer. Program Organizers are responsible for submitting the proposal, communicating with all panelists and managing the session.
- -Please review the JCLC Conference Program/Schedule and locate your session. Note the date, time, and location of your program.
- -Inform your panelists of the date, time, and location of the session.
- -Ensure that all panelists and the moderator register for the JCLC Conference by July 1, 2018.
- -Inform the JCLC Program Committee at jclc2018programs@gmail.com if a panelist has withdrawn and if you have a substitute.
- -Work with the moderator to facilitate the discussion of the order of the presentations, the length of speaking time and session structure. All sessions are 75 minutes long. Speaking time suggestions for panels and roundtables include:
Three Presenters:
- -5 minutes (moderator to introduce the session)
- -15 minutes (each presenter)
- -20 minutes (Q&A)
- -5 minutes (final comments/closing)
Four Presenters:
- -5 minutes (moderator to introduce the session)
- -10 minutes (each presenter)
- -25 minutes (Q&A)
- -5 minutes (final comments/closing)
Day of the Conference
- -Confirm the date, time and room for the session with all presenters and the moderator.
- -Arrive a few minutes early to your session.
