The Joint Conference of Librarians of Color (JCLC) is open to everyone with an interest in diversity and libraries! In 2006, over 1,000 people from different backgrounds and  a wide variety of libraries attended the inaugural JCLC. The 2012 conference promises even more exciting sessions, keynote speakers, networking opportunities, and important events.

In 2006, JCLC participants were from the following types of libraries:
